190.jpg) "Zippy" Omelettes
These omelettes are so simple and easy, and they truly are delicious. Try them. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
3 eggs
1/4 Cup chopped bacon
1/4 Cup chopped ham
1/4 Cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 Cup chopped onions
Cook the bacon, ham, mushrooms, and onion in skillet for 4-5 minutes. Crack the eggs and put them into a zipper lock freezer bag (make sure it is a freezer bag. Regular storage bags will melt). Add the bacon, ham, mushrooms, and onions to the bag. Squeeze the air out of the bag and zip it up. Shake the bag carefully and knead the bag with your hands to break the yolks up and to mix the ingredients. Place the bag into a pot of boiling water for 4 to 5 minutes until the eggs are fully cooked. Open the bag and serve the omelette.
Serves 1-2
Tips for this recipe
Mix and match ingredients. Don't like onions? Leave them out. Like peppers? Throw them in.
Cover the omelette with cheese once it is cooked.
Top with sour cream and/or salsa to make it interesting.
